Walking Taco Bar Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 Tablespoons homemade taco seasoning or store bought taco seasoning
- 2 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce
- 1 can (4.5 ounces) chopped green chiles
- your favorite taco toppings , such as shredded cheese, guacamole, salsa, sour cream and jalapenos
- 8` snack size bags nacho chips or corn chips , such as Doritos or Fritos

Instructions
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and cook ground beef, onion, garlic and taco seasoning until beef is browned, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in tomato sauce and green chiles and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mixture can be transferred to a slow cooker set on warm or low so your guests can serve themselves at your party.
- Assemble your favorite taco toppings in individual bowls and arrange around your slow cooker with bags of chips.
- To assemble your Walking Taco: Select your bag of chips and gently crush chips. Open bag, top with taco beef mixture and your favorite toppings!
