- Arrange carrots, onion, celery and parsley in bottom of slow cooker.
- Top with chicken or beef bones.
- Add water to cover bones. Add vinegar. Let stand 30-60 minutes. This allows the vinegar to draw out the minerals from the bones.
- Cook on low 18-24 hours.
- Place a colander in a large bowl or another pot and drain and reserve broth.
- Discard vegetables and bones.
- If there is any meat on the bones you can shred it and use it in your broth.
