Immune Boosting Drink
Whether you’re feeling a bit under the weather or just want to keep your Vitamin C level up, our homemade vitamin C drink is a rich source of antioxidants and will do the trick.
I personally drink one every day and look forward to sipping on this delicious citrus drink.
I’ll make vitamin juice at the start of my day and continually reheat and sip on it throughout my day.
My friend Lisa told me about this drink. She said she swears by it whenever she feels something coming on.
I took it one step further and added the Vitamin C powder to it for an added boost.
Being a holistic nutritionist, I know how important it is to keep your Vitamin C level up when you’re not feeling well or when you want to be sure you’re staying strong and healthy.

Vitamin C gets depleted when you aren’t feeling well, so keeping your level up should help you to feel better quicker.
The combination of organic apple cider vinegar, raw honey and citrus, such as an orange or clementine, along with a bit of it’s skin, packs a punch of goodness in one drink.
Add in a packet of Vitamin C powder and you’ll be giving your immune system a welcome boost.
It’s best to use a high-powered blender, such as a NutriBullet, when pureeing this mixture so the fruit and its skin blend together with all the ingredients.
When blending the ingredients together begin with just 1 cup of cold water and puree.
You don’t want to add the hot water to a blender because the heat can cause the top to pop off or pressure to build up.
Once the mixture is blended, then you will add boiling or very hot water and the Vitamin C packet and stir until blended.
Depending on how intense you want the flavor to be, add 2 or more cups of hot water.
But let me tell you, the citrus aroma that happens when these ingredients are combined is amazing and will make your taste buds dance with anticipation of that first sip.
I’ve also been known to add some of my citrus drink to a cup of hot tea lending a mouthwatering citrus flavor to the tea.
Our immune boosting beverage is amazing warm but if you prefer a cold drink, go ahead and make it cold or even add in a bit of ice for a frothy drink.
You can easily make this recipe a cold drink. Scroll down for directions on how to make a cold vitamin drink.
I'd say that now is a good time to boost your immune system with all that is happening in our world these days.
Any way you drink it, warm or cold, your immune system and your taste buds will thank you.
