Fire up the grill, it's burger season! We've waited a long time for this warm weather to finally arrive and we deserve Bruschetta Burgers With Crispy Prosciutto, don't ya think?
Crispy prosciutto combines with sundried tomatoes to make the most flavorful ground beef burgers!
And just when you think these burgers can't get any more flavorful we add in a Lemon Basil Aioli and top it all with a Bruschetta Topping bursting with fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil, garlic and beautiful heirloom tomatoes.

Bruschetta Burgers With Crispy Prosciutto Recpe

Ingredients
Bruschetta Topping:
- 2 cups chopped heirloom tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tablespoons chopped basil leaves
- 2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon white balsamic vinegar
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, optional
Lemon Basil Aioli:
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tablespoons minced basil leaves
- 1 Tablespoon lemon zest
Bruschetta Burgers:
- 3 ounces sliced prosciutto, chopped
- 1 pound ground beef
- ¼ cup chopped sundried tomatoes
- 4 hamburger rolls
- 4 green leaf lettuce leaves

Instructions
Bruschetta Topping:
- Combine chopped tomatoes, garlic, chopped basil, olive oil, vinegar, kosher salt and, if desired, red pepper flakes. Let stand.
Lemon Basil Aioli:
- Combine mayonnaise, minced basil and lemon zest. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Crispy Prosciutto Burgers:
- Preheat grill for direct heat grilling.
- Heat medium nonstick skillet over medium heat and cook chopped prosciutto until crispy, stirring occasionally; let cool.
- Combine ground beef and sundried tomatoes. Reserve 1 heaping Tablespoon crispy prosciutto and stir remaining crispy prosciutto into ground beef mixture. Shape into 4 burgers.
- Grill burgers to desired doneness, turning once.
- Brush cut sides of rolls with Lemon Basil Aioli. Top bottom of roll with lettuce, burger, Bruschetta Topping, reserved crispy prosciutto and top of roll.
