Watermelon Wine Frose
When the weather is hot and steamy and watermelons are sweet and juicy, the only sensible thing to make is a frozen watermelon cocktail. I’m sure you agree!
We all love a refreshing Frosé so why not make it even better and more flavorful with sweet watermelon and a hint of tangy fresh lime juice?
Let’s make slushy cocktails!
Frozen watermelon and frozen wine whirl up in the blender with additional wine that been sweetened with superfine sugar and fresh lime juice transforming into a delightful watermelon slushy cocktail.
There’s a bright side to making our Frosé.
No need to go through all the trouble of making a simple syrup, like many other recipes do, for our watermelon frost drink.
We use superfine sugar that dissolves easily and combines overnight in the fridge with some of the rosé wine and lime juice.
Easy peasy when you're making a frozen watermelon cocktail!
For a deep red color, be sure to use a rose that is a dark pink and also add two or three drops of red food coloring. I added the food coloring (very little!) to enhance the color but you can keep your frozen slushy a lighter color and just leave out the food coloring.
Summertime just got a lot more flavorful and fun. Your watermelon rosé slushy will be the hit of this week’s Happy Hour! Cheers!

How to make a mocktail
To make a watermelon mocktail just substitute juice for the rose wine.
Since the juice you use may be sweeter than a rose wine, you can add less superfine sugar.
