There’s nothing more fun for dessert than an Ice Cream Sundae Bar! Add in waffle cups dipped in rainbow sprinkles and you have yourself a party!

My grandkids just love when we have an ice cream sundae party and they get to personalize their own ice cream sundae!

Liam, being the oldest grandchild, had the honor of being the ice cream server this time, dishing out scoops of ice cream into our fun and festive waffle bowls with rainbow sprinkles.

Then the real fun began! Each grandchild got to top their ice cream with their favorite toppings. And boy oh boy was that ever lots of fun. They made the best waffle cup sundaes ever! You can tell by the smiles on their faces!

Then you can place scoops of ice cream in your waffle cups and your guests can get to work topping with their favorite toppings!

How do I organize my ice cream sundae bar?

  • Set out your toppings in small bowls or mason jars
  • Serve the sauce toppings in squirt bottles

A DIY Ice Cream Sundae Bar with Rainbow Dipped Waffle Cups! Waffle cups dipped in melted chocolate then rainbow sprinkles make a fun edible bowl for your sundae!

Ingredients
  • 1 pkg. (7 ounces) waffle bowls , 10 waffle bowls
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips, melted*
  • 1 cup rainbow sprinkles
  • 20 scoops ice cream
Suggested Toppings:
  • Hot fudge sauce
  • Maraschino cherries
  • Mini chocolate chip cookies
  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Mini M&M’s
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Mini oreos
  • Mini vanilla oreos
  • Whipped cream
Instructions
  1. Dip rims of waffle bowls in melted white chocolate*, then in rainbow sprinkles.

  2. Let stand until white chocolate has set. You can place in refrigerator for about 10 minutes to speed up the process.
  3. Place two scoops of ice cream in each waffle bowl. See notes below for easy serving suggestion!

  4. Top with our suggested toppings or your favorite toppings!

*If melted white chocolate is too thick, stir in 1 teaspoon oil until blended.

    We can call this is happy recipe, because it makes both children and adult are funny. My daughter prefers waffle bowls with rainbow sprinkles. She like to put yogourt and some slides of kiwi into the cup.
