How to make homemade iced pumpkin spice latte
Scroll down for the full iced pumpkin spice latte recipe instructions and ingredient amounts in the recipe card below:
- Step 1: Combine espresso or coffee, milk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, vanilla and pumpkin pie spice in a blender and puree until creamy and blended.
- Step 2: Fill two glasses with ice and pour the coffee mixture over the ice.
Hint: If desired, top your iced lattes with whipped cream, cold cream, sprinkle with additional pumpkin pie spice or drizzle with pumpkin syrup.
Expert recipe tips
- For your iced coffee, be sure that the espresso or brewed coffee is chilled or at room temperature
- It is important that you use 100% pure maple syrup for the best flavor!
- Pumpkin pie filling is not the same as real pumpkin puree so please do not use them interchangeably
- Top your pumpkin spice latte with whipped cream and a drizzle of homemade pumpkin spice syrup!
- Sprinkle crumbled pumpkin cookies or crumbled pumpkin muffins over the whipped cream on your latte
- This recipe can be doubled to make four servings
Substitutions
- You can use 1 cup strong coffee or strong cold brew coffee instead of the shots of espresso
- Whole milk can be replaced with your favorite milk. You can use a plant-based milk or non-dairy milk, such as soy milk, coconut milk or oat milk
- Brown sugar or coconut sugar can replace the maple syrup
- You can use your own homemade pumpkin puree in place of canned puree
- As always, I used my homemade pumpkin pis spice recipe to make this recipe but store bought spice will work just fine too.
Equipment
- Blender, immersion blender or milk frother

- Measuring spoons
- Glass measuring cup
Storage
