Nutella, the beloved creamy decadent chocolate hazelnut spread, is nestled in the center of a bite size sugared heart and baked to perfection. And it’s easy as pie to show your love when you use refrigerated pie crust! Just unroll the pie crust, press heart cutter, top with Nutella and crimp the edges. Oh and don’t forget the sugar sprinkles, that’s the sparkling finishing touch! It doesn’t get much easier! Time to bake up some love for that special someone! Happy Valentine’s Day!


- 1 pkg. (15 ounces) refrigerated pie crust
- 8 Tbs. Nutella
- 1 Tbs. milk
- red sugar sprinkles
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- On lightly floured surface unroll one pie crust. Using a 2-inch heart cutter, cut out 24 hearts.
- Arrange hearts on baking sheet and place 1/2 teaspoon Nutella in center of hearts.
- Unroll remaining pie crust and cut out 24 more hearts.
- Brush edges of hearts on baking sheet with cold water and top with remaining hearts. Using a fork seal edges.
- Brush tops of hearts with milk then sprinkle with sugar sprinkles.
- Bake 12 minutes or until edges and bottoms are golden. Serve warm or cool on wire rack.
- Makes 24 pie crust hearts.
