Tea time? With just a few ingredients on-hand you can whip up these deliciously nutty treats and satisfy your sweet tooth in no time at all! It’s as simple as topping convenient refrigerated crescent roll dough with chocolate hazelnut spread and chopped hazelnuts. Roll them up, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and bake. Every bite will be an indulgence! Perfect with a cup of steamy hot tea or coffee!
Chocolate Hazelnut Crescents
1 (8 oz.) pkg. refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/3 cup hazelnut spread, such as Nutella
1/3 cup chopped hazelnuts
2 tsp. granulated sugar
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1. Preheat oven to 375F.
2. Unroll crescent roll dough separating each triangular roll at perforations. Top each roll with hazelnut spread. Sprinkle with hazelnuts.
3. Roll up dough to form crescent shape. Spray with cooking spray. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over tops of crescents.
4. Bake on ungreased baking sheet 10-12 minutes, or until puffed and golden.
5. Serve warm or at room temperature.
