The texture of our homemade bread makes our croutons that much better. And, in my humble opinion, it doesn't get much better than homemade salad croutons!
A bonus of making your own bread is that you can also add your favorite flavors to it before baking.
Topping an Italian salad? Stir rosemary and minced sundried tomatoes into your bread dough before baking.

- Cut bread into bitesize pieces
- Preheat your oven to 375F.
- In a bowl combine bread cubes, olive oil, garlic powder, kosher salt and pepper and toss until bread cubes are evenly coated.
- Arrange bread cubes on a large baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake until golden, about 25 minutes, turning once.
- Cool and then use to top your favorite salads and soups.
