How to make banana chocolate chip muffin recipe

- Preheat the oven to 350F. Coat muffin tins with cooking spray or line them with paper cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl combine the mashed bananas, eggs, brown sugar, butter, plain Greek yogurt and vanilla, stirring until blended.
- Add the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt, stirring until a batter forms. Stir in the mini chips.
- Divide the banana muffin batter evenly between muffin cups, preferably using a scooper. Bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes in the muffin pans. Transfer to a wire rack and cool slightly if serving warm, or cool completely.
- Meanwhile, in another bowl combine cream cheese, confectioners sugar, milk and vanilla, stirring until smooth. Stir in pecans. Spread over muffin tops.
