Bourbon Punch Recipe
He’s won the Kentucky Derby and he’s won the Preakness Stakes. Will American Pharoah make history today and become a triple crown winner at the Belmont Stakes? The last time we had a Triple Crown winner was 37 years ago when Affirmed took the much desired title. Only eleven horses have ever attained this prestigious title and there have been many failed attempts since 1978 to win that Triple Crown. It’s been said the horse that wins all three races has the right trainer, the right owner, the right jockey, the right pedigree, the right distance, and the right time. I’m placing my bets on American Pharoah and putting that winning karma out there for this beautiful horse, his jockey Victor Espinoza , his trainer Bob Baffert and his owner Ahmed Zayat. 90,000 fans will be cheering American Pharoah on at the racetrack today. The Belmont Breeze Punch combines the flavors of cranberry and orange juices with Bourbon and the fizz of lemon lime soda making it both refreshing and mouthwatering! As I sip on my Belmont Breeze Punch, my adaptation of the official cocktail of the Belmont Stakes created by beverage expert Dale DeGroff, I hope I’ll be watching history in the making! Good luck American Pharoah! Make us proud and take that crown! This post contains affiliate links. (Disclosure Policy)
