Olympic Ring Cookies
All eyes will be on the Olympic Games for the next few weeks! We are so excited to cheer on Team USA and can't wait for the medals to start coming!
The Olympic rings represent the union of the five regions of the world and of the athletes from around the world meeting at the Olympic Games.
Our easy Olympic cookies are just that, so easy to put together!
Store-bought cookies are topped with canned frosting and fruity cereal "Olympic Rings"!
We made our cookies for the Olympics with sugar cookies we bought at the grocery store. No baking involved.
However, you can bake homemade sugar cookies if you want to.
I make commissions for purchases made through links in this post.
We also used canned frosting from the baking aisle of our grocery store. So easy, just open the can and spread over the tops of the cookies.
However, you can make a homemade frosting to use if you prefer.
The colorful rings of Fruit Loop cereal make the ideal Olympic rings for our cookies. One of the Olympic rings is black so we used purple cereal for that ring.
However, you can also use colorful round candy, such as M&M’s if you want to add some chocolate to your cookies.
Personalize them with your favorite cereal, favorite frosting and favorite colorful cereal or candy on top of your favorite cookie!
Any way you make these Olympic Cookies will be a good way.
Liam and Emma, my grandchildren, had so much fun helping me today and were so proud of their Olympic Ring Cookies!
You’ll also have lots of fun making our Olympic torch brownie cones!
