Sometimes there are days when everything sounds good for breakfast. So what do you do when that includes deciding between a smoothie and oatmeal?
I’d say it’s time for a compromise. Just combine uncooked oats in your fruit smoothie and call it a delicious way to start your day.
You’ll want to process the oats in the blender before adding the remaining ingredients to ensure a smoother texture. So easy to make! And since July is National Blueberry Month I'm flavoring my smoothie with blueberries, of course!

- 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
- 2 cups frozen blueberries
- 1 container (5.3 oz.) non fat blueberry Greek yogurt
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 2 Tbs. honey
