Apple Cider Moscow Mule Recipe
They say what’s old is new again and that’s holds true for the Moscow Mule! Originating at the Cock “N Bull located on Sunset Strip in Hollywood, California, the Moscow Mule was created back in the 1940’s from an over-stocked inventory of it’s house brand of ginger beer, vodka that wasn’t selling and served them in a surplus of copper mugs that filled the basement. This beverage has found a new surge in popularity almost eighty years later and those copper mugs are all the rage right now. Also known as a Vodka buck, the Mule is a cocktail typically made with vodka, spicy ginger beer, and lime juice, garnished with a slice or wedge of lime. Our Apple Cider Moscow Mule is a twist on this classic cocktail replacing the lime juice with seasonal apple cider and garnishing with an orange slice and a cinnamon stick stirrer!
