Chicken wings are always a popular snack especially when football season rolls around.
I consider hot chicken wings to be a game day classic, agree?
Add a hot honey glaze and they will be a game-changer appetizer!
Made with simple ingredients, this recipe is the perfect appetizer.
I used my homemade hot honey sauce for this recipe but you can easily make these wings with hot honey that you buy at the grocery store.
First, I coated the wings with baking powder, garlic powder, kosher salt and pepper and cooked them in the oven until their internal temperature was 165F.
Baking powder helps to make extra crispy wings!
When the wings are hot and cooked through, I tossed them in a butter and hot honey mixture until evenly coated.
Oh my, now that's a lot of buttery deliciousness with a kick of heat!
You can also cook chicken wings in your air fryer instead of the oven.
So go ahead and serve a plate of hot and honey chicken wings with potato wedges and a salad for a weeknight dinner or as a party appetizer.
Any way you serve wings, everyone always enjoys homemade chicken wings, especially Hot Honey Chicken Wings!
