Cranberry and Brie Tartlets are the perfect holiday appetizer.
Cranberry sauce and Brie cheese topped with sliced almonds bake in mini phyllo cups and will be a crowd pleaser at your holiday get togethers.
These bite-sized appetizers are a cinch to make with simple ingredients. And you can easily keep the ingredients on hand for when those unexpected guests drop by.
Brie and cranberry is a classic flavor combination.
Add in the nutty crunch of almonds that toast in the oven and it's flavor overload!

I used canned cranberry sauce but you can easily use homemade cranberry sauce instead.
The premade mini fillo cups are readily available in your grocery store. Sometimes they are in the frozen section and I've also found shelf stable mini cups on display shelves featured on the end of the aisle this time of year. They're very popular during the holiday season so you'll have no trouble finding a box.
The perfect combination of flavors and textures make these cranberry brie bites just so delicious.
And of course, when the creamy Brie cheese heats up in the oven it transforms into an irresistible melty brie. Baked Brie, oh yum!
Add in sweet and tart cranberry sauce and a little crunch of almonds and I bet you can't eat just one.
Trust me when I tell you these baked brie bites are addicting!
Add a sage leaf as a garnish and they will quickly become a red and green Christmas appetizer.

How to make brie and cranberry

- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Place phyllo cups in a mini muffin pan or arrange on a baking sheet.
- Spoon about ½ teaspoon cranberry sauce on bottom of each phyllo cup.
- Top with Brie pieces, dividing evenly between the fillo cups.
- Sprinkle with sliced almonds.
- Bake for 8 minutes.
- Top with the remaining cranberry sauce, about ¼ teaspoon per fillo cup.
- Bake for an additional 2 minutes or until heated through.

- After the cranberry bites come out of the oven, add a drizzle of honey!
