    We’ve elevated the classic green bean casserole to a sauteed green beans recipe, Buttery Garlic Green Beans With Glazed Pecans!

    It’s really so easy cooking green beans in a skillet. Just wait until you give this recipe a try, you’ll never look back.

    • Can’t find glazed pecans? Just make with toasted pecans!
    • Already prepared glazed pecans by Emerald Brand can be found in the nuts section of your grocery store.

    • Substitute white, yellow or sweet onion for the red onion
    • Substitute chicken broth for the white wine
    • Substitute vegetable broth for the white wine

    • Heat oil in large a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Cook red onion, garlic, marjoram, kosher salt and pepper until just beginning to soften, 2 minutes.
    • Add wine and cook 1 minute.
    • Stir in green beans and cook until tender crisp, stirring occasionally.
    • Add butter and stir until butter is melted and green beans are evenly coated.
    • Transfer to serving dish and top with glazed pecans.

    Ingredients

    • 1 Tbs. olive oil
    • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tsp. dried marjoram
    • 1 tsp. kosher salt
    • 1/4 tsp. pepper
    • 1/3 cup white wine OR chicken broth
    • 2 lbs. green beans, trimmed
    • 3 Tbs. butter
    • 1/2 cup glazed pecans, such as Emerald brand

    Instructions
