Air Fryer Turkey Burgers
Brimming with so much flavor, you will have these Air Fryer Turkey Burgers on the table for dinner tonight in under ten minutes.
Fresh ginger, garlic, cilantro and soy sauce is an amazing flavor combination.
I love to add teriyaki sauce and sweet chili sauce would also taste so good on these homemade turkey burgers.
I ate mine with a slice of tomato and on a bed of crisp lettuce (trying to cut back on the carbs, at least for today) but I did also eat one on a challah roll with sliced red onion. Use your imagination and go with your favorite toppings!
Another suggestion is to eat this burger on a toasted English muffin.
Is it grilling season where you are yet? Feel free to forgo the air fryer and grill these turkey hamburgers over a hot flame.

Swirls of Flavor Recipe Tips
- You can make and shape the patties ahead and refrigerate until you are ready to cook them. Just be sure to let them come to room temperature first.
- Add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes for a hint of heat.
- Mince a fresh jalapeno and add a tablespoon or two to the turkey mixture.
- Serve these burgers on your favorite burger buns, toasted English muffins or with rice or noodles.
- Make mini burgers and serve them on slider buns.
- Sweet potato fries or french fries are a delicious side dish for these turkey patties
Substitutions
- You can substitute ground chicken for the ground turkey
- Substitute ground beef for the ground turkey
- Don’t like cilantro? Use chopped parsley in place of the cilantro
- Substitute garlic powder for the fresh garlic clove
Storage
- Store cooked burgers wrapped in plastic wrap or in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

- As always, I find it helpful to visit the FDA website for food storage guidelines
