Air Fryer Italian Sausage and Peppers will quickly become a go-to dinner because it is such a delicious meal that is ready so quickly when you cook it in the airfryer.
And all it takes are four ingredients plus a few seasonings and your sausage dinner will come together in just minutes.
You will get juicy sausages with crispy skin every time you airfry them.
A versatile recipe, you can serve air fried sausage and peppers on hoagie buns to make sausage and pepper sandwiches, serve it on a bed of rice or slice the sausages and toss with hot pasta.
You can also personalize the type of sausage that you make this recipe with and use your favorite sausage.
I used a combination of Italian sweet sausage and hot sausage but it will taste just as delicious if you use turkey sausage or chicken sausage. The choice is yours!

How to make sausage and peppers in air fryer

- Preheat your air fryer to 375F.
- In a large bowl combine bell peppers, onions, olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, Kosher salt and pepper and toss until evenly coated.
- Line the basket of your air fryer with air fryer parchment paper and arrange the bell pepper mixture in the air fryer basket.
- Top the peppers and onions with the Italian sausages.
- Air fry 20 minutes, turning the sausages halfway through the cooking time.
- Use a meat thermometer to check that the sausages are cooked through to 160F.

- I used a combination of red peppers, orange peppers and yellow peppers because they are sweeter than green bell peppers
