Balsamic Roasted Grapes

How do I make roasted grapes?

Balsamic Roasted Grapes are gently tossed in an olive oil and balsamic vinegar mixture seasoned with kosher salt and pepper.

Quick roasted at a high temperature in the oven, our grapes take on a sweet and tangy flavor and soften perfectly as they roast.

How do I make spiced pecans?

It only takes a few minutes to transform pecans into a buttery mixture with a sweet and spicy blend of seasonings for just the right amount of heat and sweet!

Simply sautee pecans in a skillet on your stovetop in melted butter, cinnamon, cumin, kosher salt and chipotle chile pepper.

Charcuterie Boards FAQ’s

What is a charcuterie board?

A charcuterie board is typically made up of a selection of meats and cheeses. Fruits and nuts are often included too.

Everything is arranged on a board made of wood, slate or other sturdy material.

What are the best cheeses to include on a cheese board?

Of course you will want to include your personal favorites on your cheese board, but it’s recommended to include a variety of textures and flavors.

A good rule of thumb is to include one of each of the following types of cheese:

  • goat
  • buffalo
  • sheep

Also delicious would be to include a smoked cheese, sharp cheese, a mild cheese and a creamy cheese. But actually the choice is yours!

Swirls of Flavor Recipe Tips

Charcuterie Board Variations

The beauty of making a charcuterie board is that you can change it up every time you make one.

The photo above is a board that I demonstrated making at a blogging retreat. Of course, I included my Roasted Grapes and I also added in:

  • store bought hummus that I dressed  up with a drizzle of olive oil and a spring of fresh thyme
  • sopressata
  • fresh figs which make a lovely, beautiful and delicious addition when they are in season
  • baby carrots
  • slices of fresh pears
  • store bought seasoned nuts (for when you’re short on time to make  your own!)

No time to roast grapes? Keep your cheese board simple with fig jam and fresh grapes!

Just do as much as you can and I guarantee that your charcuterie board will be delicious every time!

And be sure to add lots of fresh herbs for that gourmet touch and you’ll be entertaining in real style!

Give your Holiday Cheese Board the wow factor when you serve it on a beautiful bamboo board, an extra large board with hidden knife drawer or a round slate cheese board.
