No Churn Cannoli Ice Cream
Mascarpone cheese, mini chocolate chips and bits of waffle cones flavor this ice cream recipe made without eggs.
All the ingredients of a cannoli are in every scoop of ice cream.
I added just a hint of cinnamon but if you are a cinnamon lover you can double the amount of cinnamon and add 1/4 teaspoon to this ice cream. I tried adding extra cinnamon and it was so delicious too!
You can also add chopped pistachios and candied orange if you love those in your cannoli dessert.
As always, no ice cream maker is needed to make my ice cream recipe.

How to make homemade cannoli ice cream

- Step 1: Beat the mascarpone cheese until smooth and then add the heavy cream and vanilla extract and beat until stiff peaks form
- Step 2: Fold in the sweetened condensed milk until blended.
- Step 3: Add the crushed waffle cones, mini chips and ground cinnamon.
- Step 4: Transfer the ice cream mixture to a freezer proof airtight container. Top with additional crushed waffle cones and mini chips, if desired, seal and freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight.
Expert recipe tips
- Be sure to beat the mascarpone cheese before adding the heavy cream so that it blends easily together
- Mini chips will work best in this recipe
- Add chopped pistachios
- Stir in minced candied orange or orange peel
- You can also stir in some vanilla bean seeds for added flavor
Substitutions
- You can use waffle cups in place of the waffle cones
- You can also use cannoli shells from a bakery instead of the waffle cones
- Love cinnamon? Stir in ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon instead of 1/8 teaspoon!
- Ricotta cheese can take the place of mascarpone. However, you will want to drain the ricotta cheese before beating it in your mixer.
- Substitute 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste for the 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
