This week I had the pleasure of dining on an amazing lunch at The Waldorf Astoria hosted by Susan Whetzel, author of The S'mores Cookbook and She's Becoming DoughMessTic blog! My new food blogger friends (I love making new friends!) and I celebrated the launch of Susan's The S'mores Cookbook and book tour. I'm sure you will fall in love with The S'mores Cookbook as I did! Bursting with sixty two S'mores recipes, you will want to make every recipe in the book! Among my favorites are S'more-tini, S'mores Crème Brulee, Double Chocolate S'mores Ice Cream Pie, S'mores On A Stick, Mini S'mores Trifles, S'mores Mousse Cups.....ok, I have to admit, I could go on and on, because they are all my favorites!
The grand finale to an amazing lunch were these S'mores inspired desserts created by Waldorf Astoria Executive Pastry Chef Charlie Romano. Almost too pretty to eat (but trust me we did!), feast your eyes on, left to right, Marshmallow Meringue Banana Maple Tarts, S'mores Brownies and Chocolate Macaroons with Rooftop Honey! OMG! Talk about desserts to die for!
