Homemade Lemon Ginger Tea

With just a few ingredients and a few minutes, you will have a cup of Homemade Lemon Ginger Tea to sip on. Serve hot or as an iced tea. Delicious on a chilly day or to soothe a sore throat.

Ingredients

  • 1 piece (2-inches long ) fresh ginger with the peel on , thinly sliced
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 Lemon slices

Instructions

  • In a small saucepot, bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced ginger and lemon and cover.
  • Remove from the heat and let steep for 10 minutes. For a stronger tea, steep an additional 5-10 minutes.
  • Strain the ginger and lemon pieces and discard.
  • Serve with additional lemon slices and a sweetener, if desired.
