Garlic Kale Chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300F.
  • Remove kale leaves from stems and middle vein. Cut or tear the kale leaves into bite size pieces. Wash the leaves to remove any grit or dirt and pat dry.
  • In a bowl combine kale leaves and olive oil. Using hands, massage each leaf so that entire surface of both sides of leaves are moistened with oil.
  • In two batches, arrange kale leaves on ungreased baking sheets in single layer. Be sure not to crowd the leaves on the pans or they will not bake up crispy!
  • Sprinkle with garlic powder, kosher salt and pepper.
  • Bake 20 minutes or until the leaves are crispy.
