Instructions

  • Heat brown sugar and water in a medium saucepot over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved.
  • Whisk in sweetened condensed milk and pumpkin puree until blended and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to low and whisk in the pumpkin spice and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Cool and then transfer the mixture to a mason jar or glass container.
  • Seal and refrigerate.
  • Pumpkin syrup will stay fresh in the refrigerator for about 3 weeks.
  • Shake before using.

Notes

Yield: 2 3/4 cups
I usually add about 3 Tablespoons per serving in a drink
