Honey Garlic Sauce Recipe

  • In a small saucepot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Stir in the honey, brown sugar, soy sauce and vinegar.
  • In a small bowl, combine the water and cornstarch, stirring until smooth and blended.
  • Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepot and bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute to activate the cornstarch.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer until the sauce is thickened and coats the back of a spoon, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Notes

Ths recipe makes 1 1/4 cups of sauce.
