Air Fryer Stuffed Peppers

Save time cooking in the oven and make Stuffed Peppers in the air fryer instead. Cook the filling on the stovetop and then just 10 minutes total time in the air fryer is all it takes.

  • Place bell peppers on their sides and cut off the top third of each pepper.
  • Remove the seeds and discard.
  • Dice the top thirds of the peppers and set aside.
  • Brush the insides of the remaining peppers with olive oil, arrange in the air fryer basket and air fry at 350F for 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, heat a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat and cook ground beef, sausages, onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, kosher salt and pepper until the beef and sausage are browned, stirring occasionally.
  • Add tomato sauce and beef broth and bring to a boil. Stir in the instant rice, cover and remove from the heat.
  • Let stand for 5 minutes, or until the rice is tender and almost all of the liquid has been absorbed.
  • Spoon the filling into the peppers, top with cheese and air fry at 350F for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the peppers are tender.
