I did use a packaged lemon zest, to save on time, but you can easily zest lemons, let the fresh lemon peel dry and then use it in place of the packaged ingredient.
Lemon zest, pepper, sea salt, garlic powder and onion powder are all it takes to make this seasoning.
Kosher salt or pink Himalayan salt will also work as well as the sea salt int his recipe.
