Our Sweet Potato Casserole With Pecans recipe elevates your sweet potato casserole to a new level! This easy mashed recipe is flavored with brown sugar and cinnamon, topped with a buttery pecan crumb topping and baked to perfection.

Preheat oven to 425F. Arrange sweet potatoes on baking sheet. Bake 1 hour or until potatoes are tender. Let cool slightly and then remove and discard skins.
Reduce oven temperature to 350F.
Coat 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray. Mash potatoes, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 2 Tbs. butter, 1 tsp. cinnamon and kosher salt until smooth. Transfer to prepared baking dish.
In bowl combine flour, 1/3 cup granulated sugar, 1/3 cup brown sugar, pecans and 2 tsp. cinnamon until blended. Stir in 10 Tbs. melted butter until moist crumb mixture forms. Using hands shape into crumbs and arrange over sweet potatoes.
Bake 30-40 minutes or until crumbs are golden and mixture is heated through.

Add mini marshmallows on top during the last 10 minutes of baking time
Be sure to measure your flour correctly. Spoon flour into measuring cup and level off with flat side of a knife
When measuring brown sugar, remember to press and pack in ito the measuring cup
Substitute your favorite nut for the pecans
Substitute light brown sugar for the dark brown sugar
