Meatballs:
Combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, ½ tsp. dried basil. ½ tsp. garlic powder and ¼ tsp. kosher salt until blended.
Shape into 24 mini meatballs.
Spaghetti and Sauce:
In skillet with deep sides, bring crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes with their juices, water, ½ tsp. dried basil, ½ tsp. garlic powder and ½ tsp. kosher salt to a boil over medium-high heat. Carefully add mini meatballs to the boiling sauce and cook 10 minutes. Meatballs should be submerged in the sauce. If not, stir occasionally.
Add spaghetti and boil an additional 10 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through and spaghetti is al dente.
Serve with additional grated Parmesan, if desired.
