Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and cook ground beef, onion, garlic and taco seasoning until beef is browned, about 5 minutes. Stir in tomato sauce and green chiles and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mixture can be transferred to a slow cooker set on warm or low so your guests can serve themselves at your party. Assemble your favorite taco toppings in individual bowls and arrange around your slow cooker with bags of chips.
