Buttery Green Beans WIth Glazed Pecans

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. dried marjoram
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/3 cup white wine OR chicken broth
  • 2 lbs. green beans, trimmed
  • 3 Tbs. butter
  • 1/2 cup glazed pecans, such as Emerald brand

Instructions

  • Heat oil in large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook red onion, garlic, marjoram, kosher salt and pepper until just beginning to soften, 2 minutes.
  • Add wine and cook 1 minute.
  • Stir in green beans and cook until tender crisp, stirring occasionally.
  • Add butter and stir until butter is melted and green beans are evenly coated.
  • Transfer to serving dish and top with glazed pecans.
