- 1 Tbs. olive oil
- 1/2 cup chopped red onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. dried marjoram
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 cup white wine OR chicken broth
- 2 lbs. green beans, trimmed
- 3 Tbs. butter
- 1/2 cup glazed pecans, such as Emerald brand
Heat oil in large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook red onion, garlic, marjoram, kosher salt and pepper until just beginning to soften, 2 minutes.
Add wine and cook 1 minute.
Stir in green beans and cook until tender crisp, stirring occasionally.
Add butter and stir until butter is melted and green beans are evenly coated.
Transfer to serving dish and top with glazed pecans.
