Air Fryer Italian Sausage And Peppers is an easy weeknight dinner that cooks quickly in the air fryer. Serve with rice, on hoagie rolls, or toss with pasta for an easy dinner.

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375F.
  • In a large mixing bowl combine bell peppers, onions, olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, Kosher salt and pepper and toss until evenly coated.
  • Line the basket of your air fryer with parchment paper and arrange the bell pepper mixture in the air fryer basket.
  • Top with the Italian sausages.
  • Air fry 20 minutes, turning the sausages halfway through the cooking time.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check that the sausages are cooked through to 160F.

  • Be sure to turn the sausages halfway through he cooking time to ensure even cooking
  • I used a combination of red peppers, orange peppers and yellow peppers because they are sweeter than green bell peppers
  • Using parchment paper in your air fryer helps with an easy clean up
  • After cooking the sausages and peppers you can top them with several slices of provolone cheese and air fry for a minute or two to melt the cheese. Yum!
