Notes

Swirls of Flavor Recipe Tips
  • Be sure to thinly slice the peppers and onion so they are all the same thickness. This ensures that they will cook evenly together.
  • Be sure to remove the seeds from the bell peppers
  • Add a jalapeno for added heat
Substitutions
  • You can substitute beef for the chicken. Flank steak or sirloin steak will both work well in this recipe.
  • Taco seasoning can be substituted for the seasonings in this recipe
  • Feel free to use just one color of bell peppers
  • You can make this recipe in a large nonstick skillet if you don’t have a cast iron skillet
  • Paprika can be substituted for the smoked paprika, however, you will lose the smoky flavor the smoked paprika imparts
